Now, he is in UC Berkeley pursuing a PhD where he must be doing a lot more, but he isno longer in my wing so I cannot keep track of everything. But I know that he also recently won the "Best Teaching Assistant Award".
Whatever he does, he does it with extreme dedication and I guess that is one of the biggest reason of his "godliness". :D

Gautam Kumar
Srijan Kumar of the department of Computer Science and Engineering. He is an undergraduate passout of the 2013 batch. He also got bestowed upon with the B.C.Roy Gold Medal for Best All-Rounder. He published few papers during his stay at IIT Kharagpur and now pursuing his Masters at University of Maryland. He also was offered admission to IIM-B after a splendid performance in CAT-2012. He secured a splendid 99.97 percentile. He got a placement offer from Goldman Sachs on Day-1!
Besides academics, he was member of the HTDS. He received Honourable Mention in Dramatics and also the Best Nehruite award. He is a true GOD.

- CGPA at the end of 8 semesters: 9.91
- SGPA of 10 in 5 semesters.
- Placed in Google on Day 1.
- Got tired of McKinsey interviews and said "NO" to them when they called him for the third or fourth interview.
- Got selected in IIM A, B, C et al.
- Winner of OPJEMS, Gorala Syngal, Madan Sundar Sahu scholarships
- Best Lajpatian (Best LLR Hall of Residence outgoing student)
- Inter-hall Gold winning OpenSoft Team's captain
- Participated in Drams, Illumination and almost every other hall activity

Amritanshu Anand, Co-Founder, Betaglide
Most of us in kgp must be knowing about his recent achievements at Rice. A million dollar funding for a college based start-up - isn't it inspiring? Well, it is.
Before this he got incubated and seed funded by TLabs, a Times group accelerator program, for which he took a semester drop which must have been a difficult decision to take. But how else a start-up journey would have been more exciting!
In past, he has also been a part of Place-com team and currently holds a position of Student Advisor at Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kharagpur.
He is not a geek or a department topper but he is truly dedicated to the work he is committed with and more importantly he does what he loves! And this is what makes Amritanshu Anand an inspiring person for many fellow students at kgp.
