Learn an unusual Trick and hack your Past Life in 3 second

This only takes 3 seconds to do everyday, but you will love it!

Step 1: Take out your phone from your pocket.
Step 2: Record a short clip of what's in front of you.
Step 3: Repeat everyday.

Step 4: Snip 1 second out of each clip and stitch them together.

At the end of every year you will be watching a 6-minute video of the super-condensed version of your annual life.

Time machine doesn't exist but this is the next best thing. With each second playing, you travel back in time to that day when you were younger and making your mark in the world.

You will remember that sexy date you had on the beach, that boring day  when you had nothing better to do than to eat a pack of instant noodle,  or just how beautiful the rainbow was after the rain.

Everything.  Vividly.

here is a video of my friend who shared it to me.I also started in december after getting the idea from this TED Talk One second every day):

It's  amazing the amount of information 1 second clips can contain. I don't know how it looks like to you, but to me I could almost physically see myself standing holding my phone and remember the whole day. From just that 1 second. Reminiscing has never been this easy and sure as hell I'm going to do this for the rest of my life.

Some people take pictures, but pictures only engage your vision sense. Videos, on the other hand, convey the human movements, the sounds of birds chirping, etc and hence are much more memorable.

In 30 years you will be watching your whole life flashing back to you in a beautiful 3-hour video. Can you imagine what an awesome digital trip would that be?

Time is the only dimension that human beings haven't been able to manipulate, but with this you can revisit all the good and bad times you had without actually bending physics.

Just a few tips if you are going to do this:
1. Take landscape clips, not potrait.
2. Don't worry if you don't know how to edit videos, just take the videos first and learn how to edit them later. I only learned how to use Adobe Premiere after I had some of my 2013 clips. It took me 1 hour to learn from Youtube videos and 2 hours of actual editing. It will only get faster!
3. Record 4-5 seconds of multiple events in a day if you want, so you can choose which clips you want to include at the end of the year.

Enjoy!

List of Ultimate Irony !

1. This one surely qualifies as an ultimate irony! :P
Kamalesh Padmanaban
2."Give a man a mask and he will show you his true face." - Oscar Wilde

3.Found another appropriate one.

4.

The ultimate irony is Youtube running the ad of the same video before running the actual video itself.

6.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered
"Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

7.

The supreme irony of life is that hardly anyone gets out of it alive.

Reminds me of a couplet by Mirza Ghalib-

"Mat puch ki kya haal hai mera tere peeche,
Mat puch ki kya haal hai mera tere peeche,
Tu dekh ki kya rang hai tera mere aage."

Some people are poor, all they have is money.

The world's hunger is getting ridiculous. There is more fruit in a rich man's shampoo than in a poor man's plate.

Great misconception about intoverts and introversion

Misconception #1:  "Introversion is a fancy name that we give for lacking social skills."

This is a common misconception of introverts.  We're thought of as the social outcasts.  We're taught as kids that we're supposed to go make friends with the other kids playing in the sandbox.  And if we don't, we're weird and our parents have to apologize to the other parents for our behavior.

We have to re-learn what introvert really means.  Introverts can be perfectly social and most are.  We have many friends, are quite well adjusted, and fit a broad range of societal definitions of normal.  Its just that when everyone else is running out for the 5th consecutive night out at a bar, we'd prefer to take a night to ourselves on occasion.

Misconception #2:  "Introverts are quiet and don't like to talk."

Wrong again.  I like to talk.  I have a lot to say!  After spending an above average amount of time thinking and reading, I want to share what I've learned.  I want to know what others think about what I'm now thinking.

But I don't like to talk in front of a group of people I don't know.  I don't like to talk in environments that are loud.  And I don't like to talk about silly things, or what some would call "small talk."  I'd much rather talk about the important issues in my life and hear what issues you're working through.  And if we hit upon a mutually interesting topic, I can talk with others for hours.

Misconception #3:  "Given a choice, introverts would always prefer to be alone rather than in a group."

This too is not necessarily true.  But, as an introvert, I just have to balance my socializing time with my quiet time.  If I know I have a number of social events coming up, I need to plan in advance to get in my alone time to recharge.  I also need to make sure I don't schedule social events after work too many days in a row.  But as long as I'm honest with myself on how much group time I can take and plan accordingly, I have a great time interacting with others.

Misconception #4:  "Introverts are not good leaders"

We see exceptionally charismatic leaders, such as President Clinton or Jack Welch (famous long time CEO of General Electric) and begin to believe that being an extrovert is a prerequisite to inspiring others and gaining a following.

Albert Einstein was an introvert, as are BIll Gates and Warren Buffett, just to name a few.

As we learn in management class, there are two types of leaders - those who inspire others through their personality (Oprah), and those who inspire others through their knowledge (Einstein).  Introverts tend to do well with the latter and have made amazing contributions to the world.  They've also built huge organizations that have lasted over time.

Misconception #5:  "Introverts are only a small portion of the population"

According to the researchers, about half of the population identifies as introverted.  Other studies suggest it's around a third of the population.  Regardless, there are a lot of introverts of varying degrees out there!

I often think that introverts suffer from some of the same misfortunes of "invisible minorities," such as those with a religious affiliation.  If we can't see what someone is by looking at them, we tend to underestimate how many people identify with that subgroup.  This is especially true with those who are introverted, as we recharge alone.  Others won't necessarily know we're introverts unless we tell them.  And that's exactly what I've been trying to do recently.  Its amazing how many people respond saying that they're an introvert as well.  It's an instant bond!

In conclusion...

Introversion is just another aspect of the complexity that makes up the human race.  It should neither be celebrated nor lamented.  Rather, it should simply be understood.   Those of us who are introverts need to learn how to live in a world that seems to be full of extroverts.  This mainly includes striking the right balance between social time and alone time, so we can be truly "on" when we're socializing.  And those who are extroverts have an opportunity to better understand where introverts are coming from.  Almost half of the population identifies as introverted to some degree, so we're not abnormal outcasts!

For those who are interested, I found this Ted Talk by Susan Cain to be fascinating and I highly recommend it.

Also, read some Myths about Introverts

Myth #1- Introverts don't like to talk.
This is not true. Introverts just talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk.Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won't shut up for days.

Myth #2 - Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don't interact for the sake of interacting.

Myth #3- Introverts don't like people.
On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand.

Myth #4-  Introverts don't like to go out in public.
Nonsense. Introverts just don't like to go in public FOR AS LONG.

Myth #5- Introverts always want to be alone.
Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They daydream. They like to have problem to work on, puzzle to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don't have anyone to share their discoveries with.

Myth #6- Introverts are weird.
Introverts are often individualist. They don't follow the crowd. They prefer to valued for their novel ways of living. They think for themselves and because of that, they often challenge the norm.

Myth #7- Introverts don't know how to relax and have fun.
Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shut down.

Myth #8- Introverts can fix themselves and become Extroverts.
A world without Introverts would be a world with few scientists, artists, poets, doctors, mathematicians, and philosophers. That being said, there are still plenty of techniques an Extrovert can learn in order to interact with Introverts.(Yes, I reversed these two terms on purpose to show you how biased our society is.) It means Introverts cannot "fix themselves" and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race.

New Products that people don't know about

Armstar Bodyguard 9XI-HD01

The flexible arm, which is armored with Kevlar and hard plastic, contains a rechargeable lithium battery pack that powers an "electronic deterrent" device built into the arm's artificial skin.

All the user has to do is pull a pin, and an assailant who grabs his or her arm is going to get zapped with electricity. The Bodyguard is also equipped with a bright LED flash-light, an HD camera capable of transmitting pictures (great for selfies whilst battering a mugger) , and a charging slot into which an iPhone apparently fits nicely.

This was patented as "wearable shield and self-defense device," is designed to be a shield, a non-lethal weapon and a communications device in one.

Pomegranate Seed Batteries

A new battery inspired by the seed design of the pomegranate is able to hold ten times the charge of a typical rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

In the newest iteration of the technology, the team from Stanford University gathered the yolk shells into clusters using a micro-emulsion technique also used in the oil, cosmetics and paint industries. The clusters were then coated with a second, thicker layer of carbon, which held the ‘pomegranate clusters’ together while also providing a means of transport for the electrical currents. The smaller surface area of the clusters also exposes less area to the electrolyte, which reduces the formation of ‘gunk’ and improves performance.

Snooperscope

Successfully launched on Kickstarter and now taking pre-orders on Indiegogo too, the Snooperscope is a night vision camera for your mobile device. Whether you're an amateur filmmaker, a wildlife enthusiast or simply interested in protecting your home and property, the Snooperscope has plenty of potential uses and works with iOS and Android phones or tablets. It connects to your mobile device via a peer-to-peer Wi-Fi connection, enabling you to see the feed coming from the Snooperscope though the official app. Its on-board battery is good for around four hours of continuous use, which should cover most stake-outs, and it comes with both magnetic attachments and a tripod thread. The device uses its own lens and optics, so as long as your smartphone is in range, you can use the Snooperscope on a helmet, window ledge or anywhere else.

Avegant Glyph

The Avegant Glyph looks like its out of Star Trek, and it has already attracted a huge amount of interest on Kickstarter. This 'mobile personal theatre' brings the highest quality visuals and audio right in front of your eyeballs without distracting anyone around you – in the years to come we might all be sitting on the train (or the sofa) with a Glyph strapped to our head.

The device's breakthrough Virtual Retinal Display technology beams pictures straight onto your retina, and Avegant is promising it's an experience unlike anything that's gone before. The headset can also be used as a standard set of headphones, albeit a rather chunky one. Two years in the making, the Avegant Glyph streams content from a phone, tablet or computer, and the next batch of prototypes are about to be put together.

Wisper

The Wisper gloves let you make and receive phonecalls via a Bluetooth connection to your mobile, and they keep your hands warm too. If you don't mind looking a little ridiculous while you're chatting, then it's a smart piece of clothing that's worth keeping an eye on – for now the inventor is looking for funding to take his handmade prototype device into mass production.

The gloves have an impressive standby time of 15 days between charges thanks to the custom-built microcontroller, and you can even use them to control the camera shutter button on your phone if you want to take a snap remotely. If you don't want to have to wear a Bluetooth earpiece constantly while you're out and about, Wisper could be the alternative you've been looking for.

Baby Stroller Scooter

This one really speaks for itself, every great fit and healthy parents dream come true!

Baby Mop

Again, a great one for every parent out there; the very definition of two birds with one stone!

Body Sleeping Bag

Great for camping especially if you have little space and want to keep really warm of a night!

Grippity

Grippity, which just launched on Kickstarter , is a 7-inch tablet with a 800 x 480 resolution — low by today's standards — semi-transparent display designed by Taga. What makes it so unique, though, is that it allows typing from both sides of the tablet. In fact, Grippity could change the way we interact with tablets: it’s easier to type on with all 10 fingers thanks to its two sides and solid frame. Taga claims that it’s easier to use the back panel to type so that pixels aren’t hidden when you touch them. The company also mentions that playing Angry Birds is more fun on their device.
